Advanced Waste Services was founded by Andrew Priestley and is a privately owned Canadian Company. Andrew has more than 20 years of experience in the
waste removal industry. His father started a Waste Management company back in 1980 which was purchased by Andrew in 2003.
Andrew began working in his fathers company when he was 13 years old and has been running the company for the
last 10 years. Andrew has experience in many facets of the industry from waste management, to environmental management.
Andrew started Advanced Waste Services to fulfill a need in the industry for exemplary customer service. Originally, Andrew started
a computer company back in 1995 and has recently closed this operation down to focus fully on waste management. By being entrenched in the computer industry
for the last 14 years Andrew is introducing some very powerful tools to the waste management industry. Research
and understanding of the latest environmental technologies, and the role of technology in the ever changing waste
industry are just some of the areas of interest. Andrew was awarded an Environmental citizenship

is very important to Andrew and he strives to learn more about it all the time. Andrew also earned a Systems
Analyst Diploma from Sheridan college. The systems analyst courses have helped Andrew assess situations in both
the computer and waste management fields and helps him with any challenges effectively.
